10 Most Common Questions

First of all make sure that your device is connected to the internet whether through your mobile data or a Wi-Fi connection. When connected there should be a 3G / 4G or Wi-Fi symbol next to the reception bars in the top left corner of the display.

Buying a video within our app is quite simple. There are two ways of doing it:

1. Through the Video Menu:

Open the app then tap on the video button in the top menu bar. A list of all available videos should appear. Choose the video you want to purchase and tap it. Now, a video page should load and all you need to do is tap on the price. You can either tap on the price buttons by the individual videos you want to buy or tap the All-in-One package to buy them all. In addition to the video, you will receive the whole chapter for free and will never see a single AD in the purchased chapters again.

When you tap on the price or all-in-one buttons, a popup may appear asking you to type in your Apple ID and password. Fill in your details then press OK and the purchase is done. Now you can go to the specific chapter in the app, or watch the video on the detail page within the Video menu. If for some reason that doesn't work, simply press the Video button in the top right corner of the display.

2. a) Buy in the chapter (if the chapter is still locked)

If you want to buy a video of a locked chapter all you need to do is open the app and choose the chapter you're interested in and open it by tapping this chapter in the menu. There you'll find a page with three different prices. These are the price for buying the chapter by itself, buying the video and chapter together, and for buying the very well priced All-in-One package. Now tap the price button of the content you want to purchase. After tapping on the price a popup appears and asks you to type in your Apple ID password. Fill in your password and press OK and the purchase will be done. Now you can go to the specific chapter in the app, or watch the video on the page in the video menu. If for some reason that doesn't work, simply press the video button in the top right corner of the display.

2. b) In the chapter (if the chapter is unlocked)

If you want to buy a video in an unlocked chapter, simply open the app, then choose the chapter you're interested in and open it by tapping this chapter in the menu. Just swipe through the chapter and tap on the video you want to purchase. A popup on the bottom of your display will appear and give you two options: the video and chapter price, and the very well priced All-in-One package. Now tap the price button of the content you want to purchase. After tapping on the price a popup appears and asks you to type in your Apple IDs password. Fill in your password and press OK and the purchase is done. Now you can go to the specific chapter in the app, or watch the video on the page within the video menu. If for some reason that doesn't work, simply press the video button in the top right corner of the display.

Note: Make sure your phone is not on silence in order to hear the sound of the video.

2. In the Menu

If you want to watch a video within the chapter simply open the app, then choose the chapter you're interested in or just purchased the video for and open it by tapping this chapter in the menu. Just swipe through the chapter and tap on the video you want to watch. Tap on the video you want to watch and it will start playing. If for some reason that doesn't work, simply press the video button in the top right corner of the display.

If it still doesn't work try ONE of the following steps:

1. If for some reason it doesn't work simply open the app and press the video button in the top right corner of the display. Tap the “restore” button and while tapping on the button your device should load your purchases and unlock the items you just bought. Try again to watch the video or try step 2 or step 3

2. If the video still doesn't want to play, just close the app by double-tapping the Home button. You'll now be in multi view where you simply swipe up the app you want to close to the top. Now tap the Home button again to get back to your home screen and open the app by tapping on the app icon. Now the video should play as desired.

3. If you tried step 1 and 2 there is a third option. You'll need to delete the app and then reinstall it. To do this hold the Home button down and tap a small x in the top right corner of the app you want to delete. You'll be asked if you want to delete that app, say OK and the app will uninstall from your device automatically. Now open the App Store app on your device and search our app by typing the name of the app (or CSC Hildebrand). Select the app you want to reinstall and next to it should be a small cloud with a down arrow. The cloud icon indicates that you already had this app installed on your device so you won't need to buy anything new related to it in order to restore your previous purchases. Tap on that symbol, type in your Apple ID password (if asked) and the app will start to download (as long as your internet connection is working). After the install is complete open the app by clicking the icon again and you should then be able to watch the videos you purchased or read the chapters you bought - and all that Ad free!

FaceTime is Apple's video calling app which you can access using your iCloud email account or through your mobile number. It's free and it comes preinstalled on your Apple devices.
By signing up to iCloud you are able to store all of your data (your documents, photos, music and so on), remotely in the internet cloud rather than physically on your computer. This allows you to access your data by logging into apps or websites on any device, rather than having to go to a specific device.
We tell you this in detail in our iCloud guide, but you need to sign up to the cloud on one of your Apple devices. You are generally able to do this when setting up an Apple device for the first time.
It's important because if you lose or break your phone, you lose all your data that's on it - if you haven't backed it up. This could include your photos, texts, documents and music, among many other things. If your data is backed up on your Mac or on the iCloud, you'll be able to access it again from a new phone should you indeed lose or break your current one.

Yes. Just purchase any chapter, video or package and you'll never see any ad within the app again.
Yes they are! They are free to download and use but there are purchase options as well, in case you'd like to download the video guides or read the guides without ad interruptions.
That's annoying! Go to the video menu and select restore. Once you've done this, select the chapter or video which has broken.
Yes of course! all you need to do is to purchase one of the chapters or videos.
To update to iOS 9.3.2 you will need to have an iPhone 4s or later, an iPad 2 or later, either of the iPad mini models or a fifth generation iPod touch or later. Read our update guide to find out how to do it.
On your device go to the Settings app and select General. From here go to Software Update and press Install Now if there is an update there that's available. Remember though, it's recommended that you backup your device before doing that. Read our guide to backing up your phone for tips on how.
